Cute Duckling Can’t Get Enough of Lame Joke
“What do you get when you cross a cow and a duck?” asks Jennifer Lovegood. “Give up? Milk and quackers. Yeah. I know. It’s that bad.”
According to Lovegood, who serves on the local town council, an area duckling by the name of H.R. Flufnstuf just can’t stop with that joke. ”All day long, he demands people tell him the joke, then he bursts out laughing while everyone else groans,” says Lovegood. ”I know he’s cute, but I mean, it’s seriously trying my patience.”
Bird psychologist Dr. Timothy Acker says this type of behavior is not uncommon among ducklings. “Ducks take a long time to develop a keen sense of humor,” Acker told The Fluffington Post via phone. “Sometimes it is 3 or 4 years before they can distinguish between a good joke and a crap one. You just have to give it time.”

Area Cat Wins Hide-and-Seek Championship
Martha, a local area cat, has been been crowned Tri-County Hide-and-Seek Champion for the third year in a row after finding all hiders in a record 4 minutes and 32 seconds. According to her coach, Martha relies on her advanced sense of smell and her keen instincts while seeking, and uses her ability to nap, perfectly still for hours, to her advantage during hiding rounds.
